Anna Qureshi, P.Eng.
Anna Qureshi received her Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan in 2008. She is currently registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGS’.
After graduating, Anna worked in Pakistan as an Engineering trainee with Sapphire Renewable Solutions and then joined K-Electric (local power utility) in 2010 to work in Distribution Systems. She came to Canada in 2011 to continue her education at the University of Regina, where she received her Master’s in Engineering in 2013. During her Masters she worked as a student assistant with UR International and with University of Regina Career Centre. Anna finished two awesome work-terms with SaskPower (Commercial Operations, Northpoint) and Hydro One Networks Inc., Ontario (Distribution Performance, Asset Management). Anna has co-authored an IEEE letter publication on 2.5 Beta Methodology, a study based on statistical analysis and creative data mining techniques, during her work-term at Hydro One.
Anna joined Rockwell Automation as Project Engineer in 2013, immediately following her Master’s degree. She received various formal & informal training and worked on electrical design for switching station and substation projects. These projects included capacity increase, apparatus & protection replacements, and RIO/HMI design. Later in 2016, Anna joined NEES Consulting to continue working as a Project Engineer with world’s best power group assembled by our President.
Anna’s future plans are to continue with her development as a professional by taking part in technical/developmental training opportunities as they become available.
