Catherine Andrews attended the University of Saskatchewan where she received her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2012. At this time she is registered as an Engineer-In-Training with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan.

Catherine has worked as an Engineering Summer Student for SaskPower for three summers during University, including work with Distribution and Power Production Engineering. Common activities included fault analysis, arc flash studies and CYME studies.

Upon graduation Catherine accepted a job with Rockwell Automation as a Project Engineer. While with Rockwell Automation she completed many substation design projects as well as grounding studies utilizing CYMGRD. These include the capacity increase of substations, the upgrade of feeder protection, RTU/SER replacements, protection replacements and HMI implementation.

In August 2016 Catherine joined NEES Consulting as a Design Engineer. She continues to work on substation design projects as well as switching station design projects.
