Jack Clarkson, P.Eng.
Jack Clarkson, P.Eng. graduated with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan with a B.Sc.E.E. in 1982. During school, he worked at the University Hospital as well as summer jobs with SaskPower. After graduation, he moved to Regina and joined the SaskPower Station Design group and continued work with SaskPower for 34 years in a number of roles. He has experience in project management, detailed design, and construction support of Transmission Switching Stations and Distribution substations as well as on a couple of HV transmission line projects. Throughout his career, he has lead a number of special projects and change initiatives at SaskPower such as the Year 2000 program, the ElecDes software implementation and the development of the T&D Project Management Office. He has also managed the Station Design department.
Following retirement from SaskPower, Jack joined the NEES team and continues to help deliver T&D projects in Saskatchewan.
He enjoys the outdoors and exploring whether by horseback, snowmobile, boat or motorcycle.
Jack is married with two children and still lives in Regina.
