Sarah Pratt was born and raised in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan. After graduating high school she moved to Saskatoon where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 2010 from the University of Saskatchewan. During her engineering student days she spent two summer terms working for SaskPower; one summer in Nipawin at the hydro station and the second summer in Saskatoon at the Queen Elizabeth power station.

Since graduating university, Sarah was employed with Rockwell Automation for over six years completing projects involving design work at switching stations such as relay replacements, breaker replacements, RTU/SER replacements, and HMI implementation. She is a proficient user of ElecDes Design Suite, an electrical application of AutoCad, which is used to generate schematics and wiring diagrams for the switching station designs.  In January, 2016 she started with NEES Consulting as a Project Engineer where she has been able to continue using and developing her skill set with switching station design. She has also completed two training courses on photovoltaic system design and installation in 2016.

Sarah is a Professional Engineer and is member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan.

During her free time, Sarah enjoys travelling, visiting with her family and friends, being active, and is always on the lookout for her next adventure.
